Bluben



Tempat tunggu pete-pete kalo mau ke Lapadde. Orang pare pasti tau :)
Dulu konon cuma ada baliho iklan margarin ini (duluuu...banget, saya juga tidak ingat). Jaman saya smp-sma, di tengah perlimaan sana ada tugu Parepare Bersahaja. Eh begitu saya balik lagi ke pare setelah PTT, tugunya udah ganti jadi tugu blue band. Hebat euy, saking ngetopnya, bisa menggeser tugu bersahaja...

Buku: A Life Less Ordinary

Bukunya bagus, keren. Tapi saya bukan mau me-review. Ada satu bagian di halaman 115 yang bikin saya mengerutkan kening, lalu tersenyum-senyum:

"Saya telah berusaha keras memberikan nama untuk anak saya. Kakeknya memberi nama Subal; suami saya memanggilnya Budhan; tetapi saya tidak menyukai keduanya. Kakak ipar saya menyarankan nama Gautam, yang lebih saya sukai, tetapi akhirnya saya memanggilnya Subroto, dengan nama panggilan Babu."

Seriously?? Secara ini kisah nyata yang ditulis oleh seorang wanita India, saya jadi bertanya-tanya, apa iya nama Subroto juga biasa dipakai di sana :)? Jawa banget gitu...
